Compare two batteries

Two codes in, one verdict out: diameter, height, voltage and chemistry from the cited sheets, drawn over each other at one scale.

Common questions

How the verdict is decided

The rules run in this order and stop at the first that applies. Two codes printed for the same cell: safe swap. A dimension or the voltage not stated: no verdict. Coin against cylinder or pack: do not swap. Diameter or height more than 0.15 mm apart: do not swap, unless the cited charts list the two as the same outline. Zinc-air against anything else: do not swap outside a hearing aid. Nominal voltage more than 0.2 V apart: do not swap. Same size and voltage, different chemistry (alkaline and silver oxide, CR and BR) or a different drain class: fits, read the note. Everything matching: safe swap.

The rules lean towards "do not swap". They cannot see your device. When the device or the old cell names a code, that code wins.
